February 11-13, 2011: Snow Trip at Camp Sierra for Diocesan Youth
SKI/SNOW TRIP TO CHINA PEAK For those who haven't heard.... we have an excellent ski/snow trip planned for China Peak (the new and improved Sierra Summit) the weekend of 2/11-13. We will once again be staying at Camp Sierra. There's still room and time to sign up but not much!!! Leann Brooks needs your registrations by Monday (or at least need to know you're coming). We may be able to take "last minute" reservations through the 7th but no guarantees and you would not have your rental equipment preset (longer wait). The prices vary but for 2 nights stay plus 5 meals and an "all mountain pass" which includes a whole day lift ticket and equipment rental plus a lesson, it's $189 for age 13 and up plus some gas and food money for the trip up and back. SIERRA SERVICE PROJECT WEEKEND OF SERVICE February 25-27 There is one space open in this weekend service project to Sacramento the weekend of February 25-27. Monthly meetings for 2010 – 2011
The middle school (Rite 13) and high school (J2A) groups each meet once a month during the school year at the same deanery parish, meeting at the designated church in the morning to attend worship and coffee hour together; after lunch (provided by the parish) the teens then meet for about 3 hours for lessons and discussion. The lessons are centered in scripture, church traditions and personal reflection with the creation of community within the group at the core of the program goals. They return to their homes about 4 pm.
The meetings this school year are on October 17, November 14, December 12, January 9, February 11-13 (Ski Trip), Feb. 25-26 (30-Hour Famine), March 13, April 10, and May 15.

May 15 – St. Paul’s, Cambria
